PhD Thesis

My current thesis working title is “The Nairobi Memorial Park as a Site of Memory” which focuses on the 1998, Nairobi US embassy bombing.  I want to understand issues behind its development, its functioning and how it inheres memories that are personal and collective and its contribution in matters of identity, healing and social cohesion.
